Camp APAC is a unique, trauma-informed summer camp experience designed specifically for adopted children ages 9–18 and their siblings (biological or foster) who live in the same household. At least one child in the household must have been adopted from Alabama’s foster care system. Camp APAC is available to families across the ENTIRE state of Alabama.
Camp provides a safe, supportive space where children can:
• Connect with peers who share similar backgrounds
• Build friendships and confidence
• Enjoy fun, traditional camp activities in a welcoming environment

Thanks to a partnership between Alabama Department of Human Resources and Children’s Aid Society of Alabama, Camp APAC is offered FREE of cost to participating families.

• Applications are open now through March 6th at 5:00 PM
• Please submit one application per child

This year’s camp will be hosted in Wetumpka, AL June 16th – 19th on the grounds at Camp Chandler. If your family is interested, we encourage you to apply. Camp APAC is about connection, belonging, and joy, and we are honored to walk alongside families through this process.
