This event will train law enforcement, fire/EMS first responders, child serving professionals, and educators in effective uniform protocols to recognize, rethink and respond to child trafficking.
Earn 6.5 APOST, Social Work, or General Credit CEU Hours.
Materials to be covered includes:
–The crime of child trafficking, including on-line, sex and labor trafficking
–Partners who can help law enforcement
–Recognizing, rethinking, and responding best practices in common encounter scenarios
–Trauma- informed, victim-centered response, including those who are culturally diverse.
