Workshop Overview
Child trafficking is evolving and prevention and response must evolve with it.
This dynamic workshop explores emerging trends in child trafficking, including sexual exploitation, forced labor, and online recruitment, and the complex risk factors that increase vulnerability for children and young adults. Participants will gain practical insight into how trafficking impacts culturally diverse communities and non-native English speakers and learn actionable strategies to prevent harm and respond effectively.
Designed for child-serving professionals, non-profits, educators, volunteers, and community leaders, this webinar training session highlights the critical role each person plays in building a coordinated, equity-centered, trauma-informed response. The training also covers appropriate response protocols and collaboration with law enforcement, child advocacy centers, and survivor-focused services; supporting safety, dignity, and accountability at every step.
Learn how communities across Franklin County can move from awareness to action to help keep children safe.
