Join Child Trafficking Solutions Project (CTSP) in Cullman on October 27th from 1:00pm – 2:30pm
Traffickers are recruiting our kids in schools and online. Thus, CTSP created this training to equip teachers and school officials to recognize grooming techniques and potential victims as well as develop Human Trafficking School Safety protocols to respond appropriately to suspected trafficking and exploitation. Educators and administrators will leave understanding how they are on the frontlines in protecting students and how to intervene on their behalf.
Our goals are to train those associated with our schools (teachers, administrators, SRO, school nurses, counselors, parents, students) in recognizing, preventing, responding using multidisciplinary approaches, uniform response protocols and trauma-informed techniques to successfully support those affected and the agencies responsible for apprehending offenders.
• How children become involved in human trafficking,
• The vulnerabilities that increase a student’s risk of being trafficked,
• The importance of a school-wide response and protocols,
• Who to connect potential victims with and how to report tips and incidents.
