The Parallel Process: Supporting Parents, Children & Workers – Live APAC Training Webinar

March 12 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
The Parallel Process: Supporting Parents, Children & Workers. Live Webinar March 12, 2026 11:30am - 1:00pm CST. Image of a family, mom dad and two children smiling while seated in what appears to be the family's living room.

When children come from hard places, the focus is often on their healing, as it should be, but parents and professionals can carry that weight too. Over time, caregivers may experience the same nervous system dysregulation they’re trying to help their children navigate. This dysregulation impacts familial and working relationships, and overall resilience.

In this upcoming training, Emily Collins, LCSW, explores the powerful parallel process that occurs between children and parents, and between families and professionals. Drawing from both her clinical expertise and lived experience as an adoptive parent, Emily offers a neurobiological framework and practical strategies to support healing for the entire family system.

This session is designed for parents and the professionals who want to better support adoptive and foster families by caring for both the child and the caregiver.
